Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings made with Mr. Disco (& Premier Weddings). By confirming a booking, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Bookings and Deposits
​

A non-refundable booking fee of £80.00 minimum must be paid in advance to secure the date.

Bookings are not confirmed until the booking fee has been received.

All clients are required to sign the booking agreement in advance of the event.
2. Cancellation Policy (Client)
​

Booking fees are non-refundable under all circumstances.
-
Cancellations must be made no later than 7 days before the event start time.
-
A cancellation fee of no less than 50% of the agreed total fee applies if cancellation occurs within 14 days of the performance date.
-
The full agreed fee is payable if cancellation occurs within 7 days of the performance date.
3. Cancellation by Mr. Disco

If we are unable to perform due to unforeseen circumstances, we will notify you as soon as possible.

You will be offered a suitable replacement if available, or a full refund of payments made if we must cancel.

Our liability will not exceed the total amount paid by you.
4. Client Responsibilities

The client is responsible for the behaviour of their guests.
-
Any threatening or abusive behaviour towards the DJ may result in immediate termination of the performance, without refund.

The client agrees to be liable for any harm, loss or damage to the DJ, equipment, or property caused by the client or their guests during the event.
5. Equipment and Performance
​

We endeavour to supply the equipment and DJ originally booked. However, if circumstances require, we reserve the right to substitute equipment or DJs without notice.

We will notify you of any significant changes as soon as possible.

While we always aim to fulfil special requests, this cannot be guaranteed.
6. Venue Requirements

The client must ensure the venue provides:

Accessible and safe performance space
-
Adequate power supply
-
Any required licences or permissions for amplified music
-

We reserve the right to refuse set-up or performance if conditions are unsafe.
7. Health, Safety and Special Effects
​

Strobe lighting and other special effects may be used. These can trigger medical issues such as photosensitive epilepsy.

If strobe lighting must be avoided, the client must inform us before the performance or include a note in the special requests section of the booking form.

Mr. Disco cannot be held responsible for any health problems, injuries, or damage to persons or property occurring during or after the event.
8. Payment

The remaining balance must be paid in accordance with the booking agreement.

Payment is accepted via HSBC bank transfer or other agreed method.
9. Liability
​

Our liability is limited to the total fees paid for the booking.

We cannot be held responsible for:
-
Power failures
-
Venue restrictions
-
Interruptions due to unsafe conditions
-
Adverse weather (for outdoor events)
-
Third-party actions outside of our control
-
10. Force Majeure
​
We are not liable for events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to illness, accidents, extreme weather, fire, flooding, or equipment failure. In such circumstances, refunds or rescheduling may be offered at our discretion.
11. Governing Law
​
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be handled in the relevant UK courts.
